Leandi & Chris is one of the most adorable couples I have had the honor to photograph. Leandi’s huge smile have the ability to brighten up even a rainy day. And that I believe is exactly what happened. It didn’t rain, it poured buckets full. I have to admit, {it’s no secret}, I left my house in a bit of a worried mood, maybe even a little annoyed, working out in my mind whether I took enough black bags, umbrellas and going through millions of plan B,C and D’s. My poor wipers was working overtime, just as my thoughts. I was also working out how to assure Leandi that everything will be perfect. I quickly learned just as I walked in to the cute little bridal suite that nothing is gonna be in the way of a most perfect day. The rain was embraced by all.
They tied the knot inside the venue as a Plan B. Leandi’s Dad married them, which was truly special. We dodged the rain during the family shoot, as well the couple shoot. And just around the time we wanted to call it a day, rays of sunlight came through the clouds. We couldn’t believe it. It was the most gorgeous light ever. It was a literally four seasons in a day sort of day. We were lucky. We had everything, pouring rain, a rainbow, sunlight and so much fun!
Leandi and Chris, I am sure the road together will have heaps of sunshine, and then sometimes even a few tears along the way. But I have no doubt that you will love each other through all the ups and downs. Unconditionally. I loved every minute of capturing your day.
