Now this is a special wedding for me to share with you. For a whole lot of reasons. I’ve witnessed & documented the magic from the start – from proposal to first dance. Jason proposed to Bianca right here in Blouberg on the windiest day. If you look out and spot 500 kitesurfers around doing their thing, you just know. But that nutorious Cape summer wind didn’t quite stop Jason to go down on one knee – or in any tornado as a matter of fact. Bit of a hyperbole, but it really felt like it at the time. You can check out the proposal here. It was super special.
When Jason and Bianca booked me for their wedding at Uhmlanga’s beautiful Oyster Box Hotel, I was well excited. It such a beautiful part of our country for starters, a change of scenery is always a great idea and to capture their day was an huge honour. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff was the first thing that I noticed on arrival. Incredible. We got such a warm welcome from the lovely Ginny (Oyster Box’s wedding coordinator) – she sure knows how to make a wedding run smoothly.
Huge thank you to Jason & Bianca as well as their families – we enjoyed being part of the celebrations. Wishing you a crazy beautiful life together as a married pair.
Also thanks to Kim Du Toit for assisting – it was lovely adventuring and working with you
