They made cardboard cut-outs of their furr babies – look out for the quirky image below.

They chose magical Babylonstoren to host their wedding and opted for a day wedding which really turned into quite a party into evening I’ve heard after.  Early morning, guests started off the day by walking through the gardens to the House of Shadows for the ceremony which was led by the legendary Patrick Boucher, followed by pre-luncheon drinks on the dappled lawns overlooking the Drakenstein mountains.

After lunch, Manouche played in the Wheat Barn that fulfilled  Corrie’s dream to hear them play live again.

These were Corrie’s words to me that brought me such joy:

“Charlene, your talent is breathtaking. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect photographer and you captured the day with such grace and attention to detail – helped us find the rings and brought such a joyful and calm spirit to the day. It was a joy to have you there with us and thank you for posting this gorgeous preview shot of Gav and I tricked out as our girls Iris and Hermione. I can’t shout your praises enough – but I’m sure going to try!”

Thank you, thank you for the honour Gav & Corrie.
