“Happy, soulful and journalistic.”

That’s how I would describe my photographic style. I’ve been shooting for 16 years, ten of which were spent travelling the world with a camera on-hand. I worked at sea and in the tourist industry where I got to experience & photograph the most magnificent places and people from all walks of life. Perhaps that’s how I have developed the deep understanding of human dynamics and a sense of intuition that lets me “see” special moments before they take place.

Photography has taught me a few things. The best moments are the real ones. For me, nothing is more humbling and rewarding than to make beautiful, honest and timeless images of two people crazy in love and families that love each other hard. Something forever.

I have discovered recently,  just how much I enjoy the process of creating some powerful content for small business owners. Shared enthusiasm of seeing an idea come to life.

Just like you, I love to document life as it unfolds, what we love and what makes us tick. I share your passion for seeing the beauty in everyday life and sometimes, not to take it too seriously. I get excited about the little things, beautiful light on a road trip, devouring fish and chips at Hout Bay harbour in Cape Town, counting the kites on a windy day at Bloubergstrand, finding inspiration in the arts and latest design. And the sea – it is my greatest inspiration.

If you care deeply about photography, you found the right place!

A few highlights of my career…

Sipping margaritas in Mexico, seeing the splendour of Angkor Wat at sunrise, eating unknown snacks at a dodgy local bar in Nagasaki, photographing weddings on a glacier somewhere in Alaska and hanging out of a helicopter taking aerial shots of the Great Barrier Reef
